Dr. Grace Brillantes-Evangelista

I am a Clinical Psychologist, Psychology Professor, Clinical Supervisor, Consultant, Trainer, and Workshop Facilitator. I have been practicing in this field for over 20 years.

I have journeyed with my clients as they struggle with: grief, life transitions, low self-esteem and self-worth, identity, career and life directions, thoughts and emotion dysregulation, conflicted relationships, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideations, physical and sexual abuse, eating disorder, complex trauma and PTSD, Bipolar II, substance abuse, psychotic disorders, and borderline personality disorder. I have accompanied them as they make sense of their experiences and create a path that is nourishing and life-affirming for them and others.

I have a Ph.D. in Psychology major in Clinical Psychology with a minor in Developmental Psychology and a Master of Arts in Psychology earned at the University of the Philippines –Diliman, Quezon City. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science: Behavioral Studies (magna cum laude) earned at the University of the Philippines-Manila.

I am a licensed Psychologist (#0000208) granted by the Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC) and a Certified Specialist in Clinical Psychology by the Psychological Association of the Philippines (PAP). I am also a Certified Focusing-Oriented Expressive Arts (FOAT®) Practitioner & Focusing Trainer (with specialization in FOAT®) by the Focusing and Expressive Arts Institute (based in Santa Rosa, California, USA) and by the International Focusing Institute (based in New York, USA) through distance education, with in-residence training.
